Vagus Nerve & Sound

The impact of sound frequency on the Vagus nerve

***One study conducted on healthy individuals found that exposure to low-frequency sounds (DRUMS!) led to increased heart rate variability, an indicator of Vagus Nerve activity.

****Sound frequency stimulation has also been found to enhance brain activity and mood. A study conducted on individuals with mood disorders revealed that exposure to specific sound frequencies resulted in increased activation of the Vagus Nerve and the release of neurotransmitters associated with positive emotions.

****These findings highlight the potential of sound frequency as a non-invasive and drug-free approach to improve mental well-being.
